One warm summer afternoon back in 1977 I carted Joan Jett out to the San Fernando Valley to this really cool hot dog stand called Flookies. Well, it was cool for us since we were still in our teens. The joint had a batting cage so after downing the dogs, Joan headed out to hit some balls. She was a natural and I just stood there taking photos and admiring the cosmic moment!
